Costs incurred by the Inquests

In the interests of openness the Secretary to the Inquests has decided to publish a broad overview of costs so far incurred by the Inquests into the deaths of Diana, Princess of Wales and Mr Dodi Al Fayed. We are unable to provide a more detailed breakdown because of commercial confidentiality. These costs will be updated regularly.

NB: A total cost of £187,464.00 was incurred by Lord Justice Scott Baker and the previous coroner, Lady Butler-Sloss, up to the 30 June 2007. These are not included in the figures above.
